Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest services at our resort. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient check-in and check-out processes. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software.
- Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services available to enhance guest experiences.
- Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism, ensuring prompt resolution to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and managing correspondence.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred, ideally within a hotel or resort setting.
- Strong phone etiquette skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests.
- Familiarity with phone systems and hotel management software is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding guest services.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
