What are the responsibilities and job description for the McNair Elementary School - School Social Worker position at Winnebago High School?
McNair Elementary School is seeking a School Social Worker for the 2025-26 school year. This position will help students resolve such personal, emotional, and social problems as they interfere with their adjustments to school and their capacity to enjoy the fullest benefits of the education offered them. The focus of a School Social Worker is to provide support to all students, including those with an IEP, Behavior Intervention Plan, RtI Plan, along with other students as deemed necessary. Desired candidates will be appropriately certified with a current Illinois License or have the ability to become certified in the State of Illinois, hold a Masters Degree from a NCATE Program/field of school social work with required internship.
