Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for vehicles and efficiency? Wize Solutions is on the lookout for a Fleet Manager to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. You’ll take the wheel in managing our fleet of 50 vehicles, ensuring they’re maintained, compliant, and ready to keep our operations running smoothly. What You’ll Own
- Fleet Oversight : Take charge of acquiring, assigning, maintaining, repairing, replacing, and even selling vehicles. You’ll keep things running smoothly, ensuring timely, cost-effective processes across the board.
- Routine and Emergency Maintenance : Schedule regular check-ups (like oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid flushes) and quickly organize emergency repairs when needed
- Budget Management : Manage the repair and replacement budget to ensure optimal use of resources. You’ll develop processes to weigh the cost of repairs against replacement, always aiming for the most efficient solution.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure our fleet meets all federal, state, and insurance regulations, as well as internal and external policies. Compliance will be your guiding compass.
- Licensing and Registration : Oversee vehicle licensing and registration, ensuring every vehicle meets regulatory standards.
- Driver Authorization Tracking : Maintain a master list of authorized drivers and ensure only properly licensed and trained individuals are behind the wheel.
- Cross-Department Collaboration : Work closely with drivers, stakeholders, and departments across the organization to ensure seamless operations.
- Efficiency and Cost-Reduction Initiatives : Continuously seek new ways to optimize fleet efficiency and reduce costs.
