WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Support Cl initiatives: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of continuous improvement activities, such as Kaizen events, workshops, and projects.
- Data analysis: Gather and analyze data related to process performance, identify trends, and present findings to support improvement efforts.
- Project coordination: Support Cl projects by coordinating tasks, scheduling meetings, tracking progress, and maintaining project documentation.
- 5S implementation: Assist in implementing and maintaining SS principles to create a well-organized and efficient workplace,
- Training and coaching: Support the delivery of training programs on Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
- Communication: Effectively communicate Cl activities and progress to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement, waste reduction, and cost savings,
- Support the facilitation of Kaizen events and workshops.
- Develop and maintain visual management tools to track key performance indicators (KPls).
- Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct audits to ensure adherence to standardized processes.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Drive continuous improvement by actively implementing and maintaining Lean initiatives such as 5S, TPM, and changeover optimization.
- Assisting with the planning and execution of a Kaizen event.
- Gathering data and creating visual management boards to track progress.
- Participating in meetings to discuss improvement opportunities.
- Providing support and guidance to employees on Cl initiatives.
- Updating project documentation and communicating progress to stakeholders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic understanding of Lean manufacturing principles.
- Valid Driver License and clean driving record
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Basic understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles and tools.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with data analysis tools {e.g., SPC, Excel, Minitab).
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS:
- Must be able to sit/stand for an extended period of time during work period.
- Able to walk through the exterior and interior of the manufacturing plant and warehouse in wet, noisy, hot, cold, and freezing temperatures.
- O= Occasional (up to 25% of time)
- F = Frequent (26%-74% of time)
- C = Constant (75% or more of the time)
HOURS & WORKDAYS:
- 1st shift (8:00am-5:00pm) Monday through Sunday with rotating days off, when business requires overtime will be mandatory
