Regional Sales Manager
As our Regional Sales Manager in Libertyville, IL, you will be part of our world-class manufacturing company, which has a 79-year history of making essential machinery needed in vital industries. You will contribute to the company’s profitability and market success by driving sales growth within the assigned territory and ensuring the sales strategy is aligned with the specific needs of that geographic region.
This role requires an experienced B2B sales professional with advanced knowledge of company products and services to perform consulting activities to current and target clients and close sales.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities include:
· Driving sales activities within the assigned territory
· Performing sales forecast, reviewing market analysis, and monitoring pricing objectives
· Building strong client relationships
· Collaborating with other departments to accomplish service goals
· Traveling to annual trade shows and clients for on-site analysis
· Negotiating contracts, pricing and service agreements
· The ability to manage long and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
· Promoting sales opportunities through a sophisticated consultative marketing process
- Analyzing customer requirements and making recommendations tailored to the client
- Preparing technical and mechanical proposals

Qualifications:
- 5 years of outside B2B sales experience
- 5 years of client account management experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5 years of CRM and data analysis experience – Salesforce and/or Syteline a plus
- 5 years of contract negotiation experience
- Four-year Business Degree
· Background in industrial equipment, familiar with industry and product knowledge
· Dry powder bulk industry experience a preferred
- Mathematical and mechanical aptitude to engage meaningfully with clients
- A valid driver’s license, comfortable driving company van with heavy product equipment

Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is an on-site position that requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Hybrid or remote work is not available. One must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. This role involves traveling to clients; the frequency will be determined with time and experience in the role.
