Powered Protection Inc. is hiring Fire & Security Alarm Service Technicians. We will consider both experienced and trainee applicants. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and desire to learn and grow. The Alarm Service Technician provides on-premises support at both residential and commercial installations.
The Technician Will:
- Install and service electronic security and fire systems.
- Test installed system following established protocols.
- Insure system functions properly.
- Instruct customers on use of system. Answer customer questions.
- Prepare documentation for proper monitoring and billing.
The Technician Should Have:
- Ability to drive a company vehicle.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Excellent understanding of electronics.
- Compliance with all safety requirements.
The Technician Should Have:
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid NYS driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Strong communication skills.
- Mechanical hands-on ability/experience working with hand and power tools a plus.
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salary: $17.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience.
