Leasing and Resident Relations Specialist
BASIC PURPOSE:
- Responsible for showing and leasing apartments to prospective residents to maintain projected occupancy.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve resident complaints.
- Execute a marketing plan and update social media accounts under the direction of the Community Director.
- Conduct outreach marketing visits.
- Works as a team participant to ensure the community meets the quality customer service standards set by Woodward Management Partners and the Community Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for current residents regarding their concerns, requests, and maintenance needs.
- Conduct property tours, showcase amenities, and provide details about the community.
- Respond promptly to leasing inquiries by phone, email, or in person.
- Present and lease available units to prospective residents.
- Address and resolve resident complaints, mediating disputes professionally and effectively.
- Facilitate lease renewals and provide assistance with move-ins, move-outs, and lease transitions.
- Coordinate resident events and community-building activities to enhance resident engagement and satisfaction.
- Assist in marketing efforts, such as creating social media posts, advertising strategies, resident referral programs, and preferred employer programs.
- Process applications, screen potential tenants, and ensure accurate and complete leasing documentation.
- Walk all ready units before move in to confirm they meet satisfactory standards for cleanliness, functionality, and appearance.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must have a minimum of 1-3 years of customer service experience. Property management experience is a plus!
- Must be able to endure walking, squatting, bending, stair climbing and prolonged standing.
- General knowledge of computers and computers programs (Word, Excel,etc) is required.
- Must be able to work 2-3 weekends a month.
