WORK Inc., one of NE’s most progressive providers of services to adults with disabilities is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and independent person to join our management team. Reporting to the AVP of Residential Services, the person will be responsible for developing an organizational culture that supports Deaf Culture and is responsive to the needs of individuals who are Deaf. Primary responsibilities are to develop and implement strategies that support Deaf staff’s competencies in the areas of ISP, HCSIS timelines. Improving the overall outcomes of the mandated requirements.
The Director of Deaf Supports will monitor timelines in HCSIS and provide AVP and Director timely reports, assist all managers with HCSIS Review and Finalize all HCSIS reports: ISP, Incident Reports. Provide follow up to all Action Items HCSIS/DPPC Including ongoing training and support to CBDS and Residential Managers and in all areas to enhance their knowledge and skills. Additionally, they will also support PBS Data Entry QUIC and perform quarterly record reviews across day and residential programs.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in ASL and Deaf Culture
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- BA degree plus 2 years’ experience in similar or related field preferred. Applicants with 5 plus years’ experience in the field of developmental disabilities in residential group home settings may be substituted for a degree.
