Housekeeper

1. Provide thorough Housekeeping service.

2. Stock and maintain housekeeping areas.

3. Lifting is mandatory

4. Empty vacuum cleaner bags daily, or as needed to maintain the equipment.

5. Report all Engineering discrepancies found in rooms in Alice

6. Use all chemicals, and equipment properly, to ensure safety and OSHA compliance.

7. Report all needles, blood, and other bodily fluids found to Supervisor.

8. Clean windows on the inside and outside as needed.

9. Remove all trash daily from any Suite/Cabin assigned.

10. Complete VIP rooms, then checkouts and stay-over rooms, unless requested otherwise.

11. Maintain supply of fresh linens, amenities, stationery, glassware, etc., in lodges in accordance with Department Guidelines.

12. Keep areas free of debris and F&B service trays during course of the day.

13. Assist other Room Attendants & staff when asked to do so.

14. Turn in all lost and found items recovered from guestrooms to Housekeeping Manager.

15. Responsibilities may include other duties as assigned.

16. Review daily assignment sheet and update completed assignments. Check with supervisor for additional assignments throughout the shift..

17. Monitor and maintain designated supply levels.

18. Maintain and monitor cleanliness of work areas.

19. Assist housekeeping staff as assigned. Engage each guest with a smile and appropriate greeting, using the guest’s name whenever appropriate. Graciously accommodate guest requests.

20. Make suggestions for improvement in overall operations with an emphasis on increasing guest satisfaction, revenue and cost reduction.

21. Demonstrate and uphold Auberge Resorts Core Standards at all times.

22. Work in accordance with hotel and departmental safety standards.

23. Use all hotel equipment safely and properly.

24. Participate in and support hotel and company efforts towards sustainability and environmental initiatives as part of the Planet Auberge program

Required

1. One year’s experience in similar position.

2. High school graduate or equivalent vocational training.
