Workrise is hiring a Senior Product Designer, responsible for designing solutions collaboratively within a cross-functional team. This individual will own and lead (with minimal guidance) a complex or strategic set of priorities. The ideal candidate inspires others to both optimize existing and create new products that are valuable, usable and needed by our customers. They will represent their product to peers and leaders across Workrise, propose new ideas and coordinate with and/or mentors other designers.

As part of the Field team, you will focus on the solutions that facilitate job requests, fulfillment and approvals between vendors and clients. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide array of stakeholders across sales, marketing, product, design, engineering, and operations to build foundational product experiences and ensure they’re ultimately successful. This role will be exempt and report directly to the Director of Product Design.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working with your cross-functional team to create solutions that address real-world problems
• Facilitating collaborative discovery exercises to understand business, user and technical challenges and integrating constraints into designs
• Working within and contributing to supporting design system
• Clearly articulating and rationalizing design decisions to internal and external stakeholders
• Presenting work to leaders, stakeholders and customers in order to seek feedback
• Leveraging data and research to identify problems and/or opportunities
• Proposing new ideas to deliver customer value
• Ensuring quality in the end-to-end user experience
• Contributing to continued improvement of the design practice at Workrise

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in the study of user experience, design, research or related fields or equivalent experience
• 5 years of relevant experience in the application of product design practices like ideation, storytelling, prototyping, design frameworks, concept visualization, problem-framing and design principles
• Established experience designing and validating end-to-end visuals and workflows
• Proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools, such as Figma, Miro, Sketch, Invision and/or Adobe Create Suite
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to convey ideas to diverse people and roles
• Proven track record of learning new technologies and applying that learning quickly
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, largely autonomous environment

Additional experience preferred, but not required: 

• Master’s degree in the study of user experience, design, research or related field
• Experience in an in-house product organization, collaborating on a cross-functional team
• Experience working with ambiguity and complexity 
• Comfort with producing multiple design interactions to run as experiments
• Experience building mobile responsive web or native mobile applications
• Experience with service design methodologies and solutioning
