What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate position at World of Vision?
World of Vision, one of Vero Beach most establish and iconic optical store's, base on giving to our clients the best products available on the market at very reasonable price, is looking for a full time Optical Sales Associate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist customers to select Frames or Sunglasses from different Brands, Styles and Colors base on customers preferences.
- Identify and suggest Lens types, Materials, Coatings, according to lens prescription.
- Take all the necessary measurements to assure a perfect fit for any prescription lens prescribed.
- Prepare patients/customers demographics, sales slips and process orders using our specialty software.
- Instruct patients on how to wear and care for Eyeglasses.
- Perform physical inventory, replenish stock as necessary, labeling and safe maintaining of the products and the store.
- Attain sales goals established by management team while complying with company and local policies and procedures.
- Check on status and notify customers when eyeglasses are ready or if any delays.
- Assist with answering and or making phones to provide clients any information or make Dr’s. appointments.
- Must be willing to works on Saturdays.

- Strong sales skills.
- Excellent communications and organizational skills.
- Ability to interact successfully with both internal and external customers at all levels.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
- Ability to handle customers complains into total satisfaction.
- Previous Optical experience a big plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a big Plus
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 Year of Optical experience.
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of retail and customer service experience.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
