The PEMB Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing projects from the time of sale through to the successful installation of the pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) on-site. This role requires strong coordination, communication, and project management skills to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination & Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of materials and installation.
  • Coordinate with PEMB manufacturers, logistics providers, and construction teams to streamline project execution.
  • Review project contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure alignment with client expectations and scope.

Vendor & Supplier Management:

  • Work closely with PEMB manufacturers to confirm order details, production timelines, and shipping schedules.
  • Manage relationships with freight companies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Source and coordinate subcontractors for erection and installation as needed.

Budget & Cost Control:

  • Monitor project budgets and ensure cost-effective decision-making.
  • Review vendor and subcontractor invoices for accuracy and compliance with agreed-upon terms.
  • Identify potential cost savings and efficiencies throughout the project lifecycle.

Site Coordination & Support:

  • Ensure that job sites are prepared for PEMB delivery and installation, including verifying site readiness and required permits.
  • Address any site issues or delays, working closely with subcontractors and site supervisors to resolve problems.

Communication & Reporting:

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients regarding project progress, changes, and timelines.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Document all project milestones, issues, and resolutions for future reference.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in project management within the construction or PEMB industry.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of PEMB systems, construction processes, and vendor coordination.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical documents.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and construction teams effectively.
  • Travel: Ability to travel as needed to job sites and vendor locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with PEMB manufacturers and construction subcontractors.
  • Familiarity with permitting and site preparation requirements.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent experience.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based role with frequent coordination via phone and email

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
