About The Role
As an HR Advisor with Wren, you will take ownership of all HR matters within your respective division, providing professional, pragmatic, and commercially focused HR advice and guidance to line managers. You will collaborate with HR colleagues and business leaders to ensure a high-quality and consistent HR service. This role is based at our Sugar Notch, PA site.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of Employee Relations (ER) issues, including disciplinary cases, workplace disputes, performance management, and change management processes.
- Oversee leave of absence, disability accommodations, and return-to-work programs, ensuring compliance with ADA, FMLA, and other applicable laws.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for line managers, addressing HR-related queries and escalating complex matters as needed.
- Build strong relationships across all organizational levels, establishing credibility as a trusted HR Advisor.
- Continuously improve HR processes and practices, ensuring they align with the evolving needs of the business.
- Assess training and development needs for managers, designing and delivering HR training to address skill gaps.
- Compile and analyze HR data, generating monthly reports and identifying trends for senior management consideration.
- Stay up to date with U.S. labor laws, HR best practices, and industry trends to maintain compliance and support continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching and development support to the HR administrative team.
About You
Desired Skills & Knowledge:
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is desirable but not required.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and Title VII.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility at all levels.
- Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and apply sound judgment in complex HR situations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in HR data analysis and reporting.
- Experience in multi-site HR operations is desirable.
- Willingness to travel and work from other sites as needed.
