Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our properties. The Property Manager will be responsible for managing tenant relations, ensuring property maintenance and repairs, and maximizing occupancy rates. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to effectively manage conflicts.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
- Advertise and market available units to attract prospective tenants
- Screen potential tenants by conducting background checks and verifying references
- Handle lease agreements, renewals, and terminations
- Address tenant complaints and resolve conflicts in a timely manner
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to schedule repairs and ensure timely completion
- Maintain accurate records of income, expenses, and property performance
- Stay updated on local rental market trends and adjust rental rates accordingly
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and laws governing property management
- Excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional customer service abilities with a focus on tenant satisfaction
- Proficient in using property management software or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
