Senior Backend Engineer

XperiencOps Inc. is seeking a talented and experienced backend engineer with expertise in the data processing to join our innovative team. As a Senior Backend Engineer you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing dataops pipelines and platform that drive actionable intelligence.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze complex data sets, design and develop integrations and data processing, and build scalable solutions. You will also be responsible for optimizing and maintaining data model and databases, to ensure high performance and efficient data retrieval.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud-based serverless frameworks and possess the ability to create scalable systems that maintain performance and reliability under varying loads. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement data processing and platform that leverage cloud infrastructure to solve complex business problems.
• Analyze and interpret complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns.
• Optimize and maintain data model and databases, focusing on performance and data retrieval efficiency.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in data normalization, enrichment, and augmentation, and incorporate these innovations into our products and solutions.
• Ensure the quality and reliability of data platform through rigorous testing and validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and objectives.
• Promote and champion a robust engineering culture that emphasizes quality, innovation, and accountability. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior backend engineers.
• Document and communicate research findings, methodologies, and results to internal and external stakeholders.

• 7 years of backend engineer experience using Python and Typescript.
• Over 5 years of experience in developing solutions using cloud infrastructure, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Proficient in big data processing frameworks like Hadoop and Spark, capable of handling both structured and unstructured data at scale.
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and data analysis methods.
• Passionate about building data products, ability to learn new domains and business models.
