Responsibilities
The Technician will be responsible for:
- Repair and maintenance of commercial trucks, including welding and fabricating
- Ensuring equipment is DOT compliant
- Ensuring equipment is operational with minimal downtime
- Responsible for maintaining a culture of compliance and safety in the workplace by enforcing established policies and procedures
- Ensures a safe and clean work environment
- Ability to clearly document cause, complaint, and correction on each repair order
- Able diagnose and repair issues related to (but not limited to) trailers, some light mechanical on Trailers and Forklifts
- Able to weld and fabricate
- Must be able to complete repairs within SRT times
- Will work on other equipment as necessary
- Must be on time and present on days schedule to work
Qualifications
What is XGS looking for in the ideal candidate...
- Verifiable Experience as a Diesel Technician
- DOT Inspector Certification
- Air Brake Certification
- Electrical Experience
- Welding and Fabrication experience
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work in all seasonal temperature conditions
We offer a Boot Program:
- $150 allowance after 90 days of employment
- Receive every 2 years
We also offer a Tool allowance:
- $500 allowance after 90 days of employment
- Receive annually
Salary : $150 - $500
