Yanmar America is seeking a Rural Lifetyles Retail Sales Associate to support the daily operations of our showroom. Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

  • Welcome and engage showroom visitors, ensuring they feel valued and attended to.
  • Assist customers through every step of the sales process, from initial inquiry to transaction completion, with a focus on creating a seamless and enjoyable experience.
  • Provide tailored product recommendations based on customer needs, explaining features, benefits, and usage.
  • Process point-of-sale transactions with speed and accuracy, maintaining customer data in the CRM system.
  • Proactively follow up with customers after their visit to ensure satisfaction, answer additional questions, and build long-term relationships.

Showroom Operations

  • Maintain the showroom's pristine appearance, ensuring it reflects Yanmar America's premium brand standards.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on product displays, ensuring all items are functional and visually appealing.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to the management team.
  • Administrative Support

  • Update customer records and track leads and sales data in the CRM system.
  • Assist with scheduling, event coordination, and other operational tasks to ensure the showroom runs smoothly.
  • Support the preparation of reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and inventory management.
  • Event & Marketing Support

  • Participate in the planning and execution of in-store promotions, events, and marketing initiatives to drive showroom traffic.
  • Assist with event logistics, including setup, customer service during events, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Support marketing efforts by maintaining accurate records and helping to implement showroom initiatives.

  • Education : High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or higher is a plus.
  • Experience : 1-2 years of experience in retail or customer service, preferably with sales responsibilities.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency with CRM tools, point-of-sale systems, and basic office software (e.g., Excel, Word).
  • Flexibility : Ability to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet showroom needs.
