The Opportunity:
As part of a small but focused acquisitions team, the Acquisitions Analyst will have the unique opportunity to work closely with the senior management of both Brookwood and Yesway as well as the store operations teams in the field. Analysts play an integral role in Yesway’s growth and contribute to many areas of its investment and corporate decision-making process.
Position Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Modeling and analyzing prospective growth in the form of new development and portfolio acquisitions, including project feasibility, deal structure, and investor returns;
- Identifying and analyzing primary risks affecting an investment opportunity;
- Driving and executing the acquisition due diligence process, including coordination and management of third parties;
- Supporting Regional Acquisitions Managers in the creation and maintenance of investment briefs and general field support;
- Analyzing current asset performance and developing projections with changes in market conditions or business strategies;
- Providing support with quarterly investor requests and due diligence materials;
- Procuring and analyzing internal and third party budgets; and
- Ad-hoc requests as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, analytics, mathematics, or a related field;
- Two to four years of investment, asset management, or acquisition experience;
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word;
- Deep quantitative, analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills;
- Intelligence, creativity, and a passion for problem solving;
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills who is attracted to a collegial work environment;
- The ability to multi-task and work independently is a must.
- Proactive, positive, results-oriented attitude and flexibility in responding to changing circumstances and meeting critical deadlines; and
- Periodic travel for site and market due diligence.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
