Yipes! Auto & Graphics is seeking a hard-working multi-skilled candidate to join our team as a Spray-in Bed liner Technician. Responsibilities include prepping/masking vehicles and applying our hot spray-in bed liner chemical via high pressure spray gun system. This position includes assisting other departments by installing trailer hitches, step bars, toolboxes and working in the graphics department when needed. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, hardworking, and constantly applies attention to detail to their work.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Vehicle preparation & masking
- Application of consistent spray-in liner coating
- Overseeing, servicing, and performing upkeep on the spray gun and machine which controls the bed liner chemical application
- Keeping workspace and spray booth clean
- Accessory/graphics prep/installation, general shop help and cleaning
Required Skills:
- Power tools and hand tools experience
- Punctuality
- Ability to work on their own and to work well in a team environment when applicable
- Maintain cleanliness, appearance & workspace
Required Abilities:
- Time management to accomplish multiple tasks assigned daily
- A knowledge of safe working practices
- Effective communication skills
- Work cooperatively with other company employees
- This is strenuous work requiring vision, hearing, balance, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting of 50 pounds.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
