- Actively work with the Marketing and Communications team to meet team deadlines.
- Update KansasCityYMCA.org and related websites with current, accurate information for prospect, member and program participants.
- Assist with podcast execution helping with scripts, social promos, editing MP3 and MP4.
- Write and coordinate social media posts for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and other platforms.
- Use creative software to update forms and create simple marketing materials.
- Help proof written and creative projects.
- Assist with special events preparation including tracking and following up on RSVPs, helping gather material needed and set-up.
- Assist with invoice and expense process.
- Travel as needed to assigned locations across the association.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related area from an accredited college or university or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Works effectively with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions and perceptions.
- Able to make independent and sound decisions in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
- Detail oriented with good organizational skills, and be multi-task proficient.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Canva and or/Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat preferred, or willingness to be trained to assist with updates/edits to marketing materials.
- Experience with Drupal preferred.
Salary : $17 - $19
