POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- To carry out the custodial responsibilities in maintaining buildings.
- To assist in the daily housekeeping at the Branch.
- Minimal direction and supervision are necessary for this position, must be a self-starter!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Building/Grounds litter as needed (inside and outside)
- Ensure Mirrors/Windows/Glass were cleaned daily
- Trash Management (emptied and wipe containers)
- Vacuum All Carpet Areas
- Toilet/Urinal/Sink Clean and Disinfect
- Refill and Clean Dispensers
- Showers Disinfect and Clean throughout the day and as needed
- Scrub/Mop Hard Floors (maintain clean flooring surfaces)
- Assist with Deep Clean (Carpet, Tile, etc.)
- High Dust
- Assist with Stairwell/Running Track detail
- Air Dispenser Cartridge Change
- Assist with Exterior Window Cleaning
- Report any facility issues through supervisor
- Secure facility at the end of shift
- Develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with members, donors, and volunteers.
- Assist in all other duties that pertain to Janitorial

The Custodial position plays a critical role in the overall success of the organization. It does this by providing one of the essential tools required in achieving the goals of the association; a safe, clean, enjoyable environment.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in custodial work
- Must have good communication skills, and the ability to follow directions.
- Able to use technology to report facility issues and time management.
