What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Team Member - 2025 Event Staff position at York Revolution?
Are you passionate about creating memorable shopping experiences? The York Revolution is looking for enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our Retail Team. Work in the First Capital Federal Credit Union Team Store or the DownTown Depot by the UPMC Children’s Playground while connecting with fans and adding to their game-day excitement!
What You'll Do:
- Assist Customers with Purchases: Interact with fans to help them find the perfect merchandise, ensuring a positive and personalized shopping experience. Note items that fans would like to see the team store carry.
- Operate the Point-of-Sale System: Use the Squareup system to process transactions efficiently (training provided if you're new to the system).
- Maintain the Store Environment: Keep the store neat, organized, and stocked during your shift. At times you may help with barcoding and tagging new merchandise.
- Stay Engaged and Energetic: Be ready to assist customers while on your feet for 3 or more hours during each shift.
- Payment Processing: The team store accepts cash and card payment methods. Experience handling cash and giving change is a plus.

What You Bring:

- Willingness to learn and work with a point-of-sale system (experience with Squareup is a plus).

- Retail experience is helpful but not required—just bring your enthusiasm!
