Caregiver
At Your Choice Senior Care we try our best to keep each caregiver on the same schedule. This position is PRN, so hours and days may rotate but we try to keep the same schedule to fit both our clients and caregivers. Our starting pay is $12.00 an hour and depends upon your experience. Hours and pay will not be discussed over the phone or text, all details will be covered if you are chosen for an in person interview.
We provide services in Madison, Huntsville and surrounding areas.

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team and provide essential care and support to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Duties:
- Provide personal care assistance such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and organizing living spaces
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation
- Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior to the appropriate medical personnel
Requirements:
- Proven experience in caregiving or related field such as childcare or home community care
- Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and techniques
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred
- Experience in long-term care or direct support is a plus
