Electronics Buyer

Position:

Z-AXIS, Inc., a growing manufacturer of electronic assemblies requires an Electronics Buyer.

Responsibilities:

· Review Material Requirements and take appropriate actions required to meet material needs for production.

· Negotiate with suppliers to ensure best possible pricing and lead-times.

· Assist in the resolution of supplier issues and follow up.

· Keep accurate records (manual and within the ERP system).

· Expedite and maintain purchase orders.

· Support internal customers.

· Maintain a good working relationship with suppliers.

· Ensure timely procurement of purchase orders and requisitions.

· Other related duties as required by the Purchasing Manager.

Requirements:

· US Citizenship ( we do some government work)

· Purchasing experience in electronics manufacturing preferred

· Knowledge of an ERP driven platform preferred.

· Proficient in Word and Excel.

· Excellent negotiation, networking and written/verbal communication skills.

Background:

Z-AXIS Inc. provides quality design, prototyping and contract manufacturing services for complex electronic products and electromechanical assemblies. These devices include LED drivers, sensing and measurement devices, aerospace, machine controls, and electronic medical devices. We also design and manufacture commercial, industrial, medical custom power supplies under our Bear Power Supplies brand. We are centrally located between Rochester and Syracuse in upstate NY. We own our modern 32,000-square-foot design and manufacturing center and we are ISO9001:2015 certified. Z-AXIS has over 90 employees working in a single shift. Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
