Z Best Home Care, Licensed Home Care Agency serving the NY Metropolitan area including Westchester County, is seeking a Private Duty Nurse to assist with in-home patient care. We have positions for full-time and part-time nurses, as there is currently a high demand for these services in the community.

Primary Functions

• We may ask you to provide various types of medical assistance, including palliative care or rehabilitation. Common in-home care tasks include administering medications, helping with feeding or hygiene tasks, monitoring patient vitals, and changing bandages. You will also assess the physical and emotional needs of each patient, documenting significant medical changes and communicating with other health care providers as needed.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

• Applicants must have their LVN/LPN license. While we do accept recent graduates, we prefer LVN/LPN applicants to have some prior experience providing patient care.
• High school graduate; some college credit preferred
• Understanding of communicating effectively with employee, patients and their families, medical and community affiliates in order to develop positive relationships.
• Organized and punctual

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $40.00 per hour
