The 2nd shift (4:45pm - 3:15am) Maintenance Technician position, starting pay at $17.00 based on experience, will maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment. This position will be required to assist with installation of equipment. This position will also be responsible for minimizing downtime and unplanned breakdowns by performing preventative maintenance work, and completing repairs in a timely manner.Maintenance/repair of building and manufacturing equipment/processes, (electrical), including painting, sheet metal work, welding, plumbing etc; diagnose machine malfunctions, disassemble and determine extent of repairs necessary, estimate labor time, purchase or make repair parts, and conduct, test and repair.Maintain a safe work environment to prevent on-the-job injuries by following and promoting company, OSHA and EPA rules and regulations, implementing machine safeguards, recognizing and reporting safety hazards and follow all safety procedures and standards.Assist with installation of capital equipment and electrical wiring systems in a safe, timely and competent manner.Keep work area in clean and orderly condition, complying with established 6S standards.Transport waste water to assigned location using company truck.Conduct daily inspection of fork truck and comply with all safety rules and regulations while performing work.Perform all other duties as required.Qualifications​High School Diploma (GED) and a minimum of one (1) year of experience. Must possess basic electrical and plumbing knowledge. Must possess knowledge in welding, fabricating, repairing and installing equipment.Ability to learn, problem solve, and make decisions per work instructions and documents. Ability to communicate and work as a team member. Must possess knowledge of basic math skills.
