Zift Solution is Hiring a Remote Customer Account Executive

Job Description
The Customer Account Executive is a key customer-facing strategy and sales role that requires executive-level relationship management, strategic planning, outstanding communication/presentation skills, effective time management skills and the ability to drive cross-sell/up-sell within all current accounts. This role will serve in an overlay function with each Customer Success Manager (CSM), building and maintaining relationships with our existing clients to maximize the growth of Zift’s software and services revenue within all existing customer accounts. The ability to identify complementary opportunities that add value above and beyond customers’ existing investment and manage a thrifty sales process, including customer and internal stakeholders are critical to the success of this role.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
The Customer Account Executive is responsible for add-on/upsell sales growth across all Zift accounts. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Strategize with the Senior Director of Sales and Customer Success Team to segment customer base and identify likely opportunities based on their current organizational structure, partner program and Zift subscriptions. 
  • Learn to position, demo (at a high level) and sell Zift’s premium features, service points, special projects and new instances.
  • Lead a 1-6 month sales cycle (and select RFPs) through to close and go-live, using Zift’s sales process, Mutual Success Plan and Salesforce as directed. 
  • Responsible for Quarterly Quota of $300k. Average deal sizes will range from $5k to $100k .)
  • Maintain or improve customer relationships, references and referrals.
  • Work in a collaborative manner within the larger Zift Revenue Team and communicate with management on all aspects of current account add-on/upsell opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA or BS from accredited university or equivalent business experience
  • 2 years of Technology Sales and Channel Experience
  • Excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong, productive relationships.
  • Have both the sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process. 
  • A competitor. Existing accounts are primary targets for our competitors. Need to be able successfully navigate complex organizations and close incremental opportunities with assigned accounts.
  • Ability to thrive in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem solver. It’s a nuanced, complex sale that requires a deep understanding of how to help prospects solve their business needs.
