Responsibilities:
- Drive sales in the commercial AV and lighting business.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Enjoy the discovery process to understand the “why” behind client needs
- Turn potential opportunities into successful deals.
- Follow established processes to ensure quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with a technical team to deliver customized solutions
- Manage the sales process from initial contact to project completion.
- Conduct needs analysis, design, budgeting, installation, and long-term service for new construction and renovation projects.
- Ensure alignment between proposed solution and client needs and budgets
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to provide clients with the best possible solutions.
Requirements:
- Audio-visual, IT or lighting industry technical experience is preferred, but not required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, related field, or proven experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional sales environment
- Proven experience in relationship management, consultative sales, and complex sales processes on large scale or complex projects for large customers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, particularly Teams and Sharepoint
