ZS’s Enterprise Data Governance Technology & Operations (EDGx) team partners with our clients to build stronger data organizations and ecosystems through the design, implementation, and stewardship of operational and technology-driven data governance solutions. We transform strategy to action, turning recommendations into tangible outcomes and behaviors to drive sustainable, scalable data governance solutions. We support training, adoption and integration of data governance capabilities into day-to-day data operations to create impact across our client organizations. We enable effective data governance through the application of leading technology solutions, automating and powering data management and governance capabilities beyond manual stewardship.

What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with ZS internal teams and client teams to shape and implement high-quality data governance operational and technology solutions that address critical business problems
- Support ZS teams in identifying client business challenges and translating them into technical requirements (ex. Data cataloguing, data marketplace, data quality, data observability, data integration, business rules management, etc.)
- Work closely with a development team to accurately interpret and implement business requirements
- Provide guidance and support to team members in creating comprehensive project implementation plans
- Take responsibility and ownership for assigned project deliverables including technology solutions, frameworks, processes, and other deliverables needed to support clients’ data management governance needs
- Synthesize and communicate results to clients and ZS teams through oral and written presentations
- Collaborate with client and ZS teams to implement solutions and create deliverables
- Support the project lead in project delivery, including project planning, people management, staffing, and risk mitigation
- Collaborate effectively with an extended team of diverse skill sets (technology, business operations, data analytics, data management, IT, privacy, legal, compliance, etc.)
- Support the design and creation of data governance assets and offerings
- Integrate within our values driven culture with a commitment to treating people right, doing the right thing, and getting it right
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with a strong academic record in in data analytics, computer science, business, economics, engineering, physical or life sciences, applied match, statistics, or related fields.
- 0-3 years of relevant professional consulting experience in leading medium- or large-scale strategy and transformation, digital transformation, and/or technology implementations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- High motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative.
- Self-discipline for planning and organizing tasks
- Strong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Aptitude for, and enjoyment of, team leadership
Additional Skills:
- 0-3 years of relevant professional experience in delivering small/medium-scale technology solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey results and issues to internal and client teams Familiarity with Big Data Concepts and Cloud Platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
- Understanding of productivity tools such as co-pilot and SQL generation
- Travel to other offices as required to collaborate with clients or internal project teams
