Maintenance Supervisor

We are searching for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our client’s growing team.

Basic responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor include:

• Possessing leadership responsibilities in the areas of safety, reliability, team development, cost control and project management
• Developing and executing reliability based maintenance programs to ensure optimum performance of mobile and plant equipment

The minimum qualifications for this position include:

• 5 years experience of at least one maintenance craft
• 2 years supervising or leading a group
• Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate through computer based preventative maintenance programs
• High School Diploma
• Strong safety and environmental performance record
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively with multiple departments in a team environment
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented and organized with a strong attention to detail
• Cost-driven, analytical problem solver with strong negotiating skills
• Experience coordinating and planning maintenance programs to improve reliability
• Fundamental understanding of mechanical principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership role
• Project Management experience
• Engineering or Technical degree or certification
• Mobile, Shredder, and other Scrap yard equipment experience
