As we continue to expand our presence in various industries both with local and international clients, we are seeking a highly motivated Head of Accounting and VAT department to join our team and expand their knowledge and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manage and coordinate the team of the Accounting Department

· Communicate with TAX, VAT and Social Insurance offices

· Review and verify Trial Balances for audit

· Review and verify VAT Returns 

· Plan and oversee the submission process of various tax obligations i.e. Employers’ Return (TD7), temporary tax, Personal tax returns (TD1) etc.

· Oversee the various registration processes i.e. VAT, VIES, Tax and Social Insurance registrations

· Monitor the efficiency of the Accounting department and suggest methods of improvement

· Client invoice management

· Perform other duties as required

· Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to follow internal policies and procedures

Profile and Qualifications:

· Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent

· A professional qualification (or part-qualification) in ACCA/ACA will be considered an advantage

· Experience in a similar position for at least 2 years

· Fluent in verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English

· Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills

· Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity and professionalism

· Excellent administrative and organizational skills

·  Ability to multitask in a busy and demanding work environment

·  Strong team orientation and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
