Junior Anti-Fraud Officer

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and investigating potential trading and transactional abuse.
• Support the development and implementation of fraud prevention strategies, focusing on suspicious behavior analysis. 
• Analyze transactional data to detect irregular patterns and potential fraud.
• Collaborate with senior team members to conduct investigations into suspected fraudulent activities. 
• Assist in identifying existing and future fraud risks. 
• Assist in maintaining accurate records and preparing reports on fraud activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science). 
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role (anti-fraud, dealing, or risk management) within the financial services industry will be considered an advantage. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and SQL is preferred. 
• Basic understanding of statistical analysis and fraud detection methodologies. 
• Strong communication and presentation skills. 
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Business level proficiency in English or above (equivalent to B2 or above in CEFR)
