Senior Technical Superintendent

  Eyonzy Recruitment is seeking a Technical Superintendent for a global ship management company based in Cyprus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on-shore and off-shore teams for vessel management
  • Oversee vessel inspections, maintenance, and operations
  • Manage budgets and dry-docking activities
  • Ensure compliance with maritime regulations
  • Drive health, safety, and environmental initiatives
  • Implement continuous improvement projects
  • Mentor and develop offshore team members

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Marine Engineering/Navigation or equivalent
  • MEO Class 1 Certificate (Chief Engineer) or Certificate of Competency 111/2 (Second Engineer)
  • 3 years' experience as Chief Engineer/Second Engineer on Dry/Tanker/Gas vessels
  • Minimum 6 months sailing experience as Chief Engineer
  • Fluent in English

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of Classifications Society procedures
  • People management experience
  • Dry docking and ship repair expertise
  • Commercial acumen
  • IT proficiency
