Accountant

Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Preparation of accounting records for a portfolio of clients and be responsible for the correctness of the information presented
• Preparation of bank reconciliations
• Preparation of reconciliations of debtors and creditors balances
• Preparation of VAT returns for a portfolio of clients on a quarterly basis
• Communicate with the client in order to ensure the completeness of information provided
• Work alongside the audit department for any queries that may have, for the finalization of the audit procedure, including the recording of the audit adjusting entries

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree, or holder of CAT or AAT Qualification

• At least 5 years prior experience in an accounting and audit firm

• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages both verbal and written

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Computer Literate with focus on the MS office, and the accounting system Eurosoft

• Pleasant personality and professional attitude
