As part of its drive to further enrich and expand its Tax department and build on its strong track record acting for high-profile local and international clients, SCORDIS, PAPAPETROU & Co (Corporate Services) Ltd is looking to recruit a motivated and dedicated individual to serve as Senior Tax Associate.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Undertaking tax compliance related tasks under the supervision of more senior members of the tax department. Tax compliance tasks include, amongst other: preparation of tax computations and tax returns, preparation of provisional tax workings, tax audits etc)
• Assisting in the preparation of Transfer Pricing documentations;
• Undertaking tax advisory services under the supervisions and/or guidance of more senior members of the tax department. Advisory services include inter alia ad hoc advisory, memos, tax rulings etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy & Finance or other related field
• ACA/ACCA qualified or partly qualified will be considered as advantage.
• Advance Diploma of International Taxation (‘ADIT’) qualified will be considered as advantage.
• Prior year experience in a Tax position will be considered as an advantage.
• Knowledge of the Cyprus Tax Laws and Circulars will be considered as advantage
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Fluent in both oral and written English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and also individually
• Professionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English language
