Job Responsibilities
The responsibilities entailed in this position include:
- Posting of transactions on a daily basis
- Preparation of draft accounts
- Completion of VAT Returns and other tasks related to the Accounting Department
- Communication with clients, professional advisers (e.g. auditors) and local authorities
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in an accounting department dealing with a computerised accounting system with multicurrency transactions in the corporate/administrative services sector
- Holder of an LCCI Higher Certificate and/or College/University Degree in Accounting and/or a CAT/AAT Qualification
- Working knowledge of MS Office Applications
- Very good command of English Language
- Experience in completing VAT Returns, Income Tax Returns and other statutory documents related to the Accounting Department
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to take initiative coupled with strong results orientation
