Job Description

We are looking for a Product Data Analyst who will be the link between our existing Product Team and the objectives defined from Management by ensuring the successful implementation of established performance indicators in areas that are deemed necessary to enhance testing and deployment tasks of our software product’s features.

You will be focusing on extracting, integrating, and visualizing product data to drive strategic decision-making. As an ideal candidate you will have hands-on experience with SQL, Tableau, and data warehouse (DWH) integrations, enabling them to turn complex data sets into actionable insights.

Your Responsibilities

• Spend time in research and utilize data to make predictions based on insights gained, create standardized performance indicators and match solutions to individual product goals

• Be able to work with large volumes of complex data and isolate the most relevant information for optimal decision making

• Extract and analyze large datasets using SQL to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for product improvement.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau to visualize product performance metrics.

• Work closely with product managers, marketing, and engineering teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive product strategy and enhance user experience.

• Identify product areas for improvement and establish monitoring where necessary 

• Define relevant, measurable, and reportable thresholds towards the identified product areas where monitored is required

• Monitor the performance metrics monthly and identify product issues that should be reported directly to the Head of Product

• Make recommendations to Product Team through presentations, dashboards, and reports

• Help in the design, documentation, and maintenance of QA processes

• Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the product team

• Integrate data from various sources into a centralized Data Warehouse (DWH) to ensure consistent, high-quality data for analysis

• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and ensure seamless data flow

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in Product Analysis would be considered an advantage

• A degree in Mathematics / IT / Computer Science or related field

• Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing would be considered an advantage

• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across various departments.

• Solid experience in writing SQL queries

• Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and dashboard creation would be considered an advantage

• Experience with integrations and data management in a Data Warehouse environment

• Basic knowledge in generating process documentation

• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills

• Enjoy the challenge of having an influence in product decision making

• Experience with ETL processes and data integration tools

• Familiarity with additional data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R) is a plus

• Prior experience in a product-focused environment, understanding the nuances of product metrics and performance indicators

• An eye in identifying future trends based on past performance
