The team provides a mix of valuation work to a range of top tier clients including funds, banks, major funds and Pan European investors, working closely with our local offices across Europe, Middle East and Africa. Core Responsibilities:
Clients & Marketing
Support the team plan to develop a client portfolio Act as prime client interface on projects s/he manages, i.e. update clients on progress, answer queries, provide advice
Be familiar with Cushman & Wakefield corporate structure and seek to develop internal networks Support the team profile in the market
Support Directors by contributing to client presentations, bids and pitches
Work collaboratively to generate new instructions and pool expertise within the team
Proactively look for and be able to identify new business and revenue opportunities with new and existing clients
Manage and liaise with internal teams and external consultants to provide a full service to the client
Gather and act on client feedback
Profit & Finance
Identify opportunities to cross-sell when discussing a client’s requirements
Manage budgets and billing on specific client accounts
Be an effective contributor to the team’s and individual revenue target
Effectively use established systems for debtor and disbursement recovery to secure cash flow and profitability
Operations & Risk
Ensure work complies with firm procedures and guidelines (health & safety, quality, risk, professional code of conduct, etc.)
Highly numerate with the ability to grasp complex valuation scenarios.
People & Teams
Coach graduates and Surveyors/ Consultants Keep own knowledge of relevant industry standards up to date
Proactively seek and undertake on the job and formal developmental activities to broaden experience and knowledge
Achieve annual objectives set within performance review and actively engage in review process
Undertake and record the requisite amount of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Support local office social activities
Knowledge & Experience
Experience in the preparation of high quality valuation reports from end to end for a broad range of purposes including acquisition, accounts, loan security and strategic advice in the residential or development sector.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the commercial and investment valuation, advantageous to have EMEA exposure
The ability to build and understand complex valuation cash flow models.
Advanced Excel skills, and the ability to build complex pricing models for large portfolios
Experience in using Argus Developer and an existing understanding of the key inputs in forming development appraisals.
Advanced IT skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PBI).
An understanding of business development and client relationship management.
A desire to progress and generate new business within the residential and development sectors.
Experience in networking and building relationships internally and externally.
The ability to lead and manage an instruction from start to finish.
High level of numerical reasoning and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
