At 3Shape, our aim is to lead digital dentistry and improve the lives of our customers. We are looking for a Senior Sales Excellence Manager with extensive experience in implementing Sales Excellence and developing skilled sales teams to join us in changing dentistry.

About the team and role
The Sales Excellence Manager will report to the Head of Commercial Excellence and be part of the Commercial Excellence team, based in our global headquarters in Copenhagen, right next to Kongens Nytorv. The primary purpose of the Commercial Excellence team is to improve our commercial effectiveness and efficiency, enabling our markets to meet sales targets. In this position, you will be responsible for enhancing sales team effectiveness and efficiency by rolling out 3Shape’s sales and training program.

Your aim will be to create a common foundation for how we manage sales globally, maximizing our efforts across our customer touchpoints with dentists, resellers, and institutional customers. You will act as a business partner to our markets, supporting them by identifying sales training and coaching needs, and conducting training. Beyond that, you will work closely with our HQ functions such as Marketing, IT, Recurring Revenue, Customer Success, Product Management, and Global Academy to ensure we provide our sales teams with the necessary content, tools and training to sell 3Shape's products and services.

We are looking for an inspirational professional who can establish 3Shape's Sales Excellence direction, keep up with the latest sales enablement strategies, and empower our great salespeople.

Job responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Identify sales training and coaching needs, develop sales content and tools with relevant HQ functions, and conduct effective training in close collaboration with our local markets and HQ functions.
  • Build sales and reseller enablement programs that ensure adoption of the global sales framework and a convincing delivery of 3Shape’s value proposition.
  • Encourage professional engagement with our resellers by supporting and equipping our sales teams with solid performance management processes and tools to ensure adoption of the global sales framework and effective delivery of 3Shape’s value proposition.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales excellence initiatives and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Marketing, IT, and Product Management to ensure alignment and integration of Sales Excellence initiatives.

Professional experience and skills
The ideal candidate has the following experience:

  • 5 years of work experience in a Sales Excellence role or similar, with a record of implementing and managing Sales Excellence projects. An added benefit is having experience with both hardware and software sales.
  • Adept leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams (indirectly – no direct reports).
  • Deep understanding of sales strategies, techniques, and processes as well as the world of a Sales Manager.
  • Experience in a sales role, particularly within the MedTech industry, is highly beneficial.
  • Ability and willingness to travel (approximately 30 business days a year).
