As Sales Director for Domestic/Grey Cement, you play a crucial role in maintaining and strengthening Aalborg Portland’s competitive position through strategic sales development, volume management, and profitability optimization across the markets of Denmark, Norway, and Iceland. With a strategic and analytical approach, your mission is to develop and implement sustainable sales, marketing, and business development activities. You navigate a complex market in which Aalborg Portland holds a dominant position among a diverse and dispersed customer base primarily consisting of smaller to medium-sized private companies. Your efforts proactively and effectively reinforce Aalborg Portland’s current market position through sharp analyses and targeted activities.
You have a wide range of strategically important responsibilities, setting the direction for sales and marketing activities. This involves close cross-functional collaboration and playing a central role in both internal and external relationships.

Additionally, you are an integral part of Aalborg Portland's leadership team, reporting directly to the Managing Director, actively contributing to optimal communication, collaboration, and development across the organization.
It is expected that you have a commercial education in sales and/or marketing at a minimum BSc, MSc, or MBA level, combined with at least 7-8 years of documented leadership experience within strategic sales management, preferably within the building/construction sector, engineering consultancy, or a related industry.
You possess strong analytical, structured, and data-driven capabilities enabling you to identify trends, prioritize initiatives, and make sound, evidence-based decisions. You are an excellent communicator with solid sales and negotiation skills, and a deep knowledge of sales processes, CRM, and sales KPIs. You are development-oriented, inspiring, and goal-focused, capable of motivating teams and building engagement both internally and externally.
Your proven experience in delivering results within a matrix organization, combined with fluency in English, supports your ability to navigate effectively in this role. Furthermore, you thrive in a proactive and dynamic environment characterized by continuous change.
