Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Aarhus University is looking for a skilled AC-TAP in mice colony management and mice experimentation.
Applications are invited for a 3 years and 5 months AC-TAP position in Daan van Aalten laboratory at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Aarhus University, Denmark.
Expected start date and duration of employment
This is a fixed-term position from the 01/01/2026 to end on 31/05/2029.
Job description
You will be part of an international and dynamic team and contribute to the characterisation and management of new genetically modified mice lines and perform the animal work associated.
Your profile
Applicants should hold a master’s degree in biology, neuroscience or similar.

The AC-TAP will be affiliated to the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics.
The Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics is part of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Aarhus University and comprises research within the areas of Plant Molecular Biology, Neurobiology, RNA Biology and Innovation, Protein Science, Cellular Health, Intervention and Nutrition. There are currently 75 full time scientific staff and 95 PhD students. The department is responsible for two educations: Molecular Biology and Molecular Medicine with a yearly uptake of 160 students in total.
