for Aerial Robots at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Aarhus
University, Denmark.
Expected start date and duration of employmentThis is a 1-year position from 01/08/2025 or as soon as possible. The starting date can
be before or after 01/08/2025 depending on the circumstances.
Job descriptionResearch in this project involves a synergistic combination of intelligent control and aerial robotics for the navigation in uncertain environment.
You will be mainly responsible for:
- development of machine-learning algorithms for unmanned aerial vehicles;
- dissemination of the results in international conferences and journals;
- proposal writing for external funds.
Your profileThe successful candidate should hold a PhD degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or similar.
Required skills:
- Good programming skills in C or Python
- Working knowledge of ROS
- Publication experience
- Excellent communication and language skills
- Teaching experience
Preferred skills:
- Experience with UAV control
- Concrete experience in machine learning
- Practical and hands-on skills
