As Abacus Medicine continues to grow, our People & Culture department has taken on an increasing role in supporting and advising both leaders and employees across different countries and business areas. We are now looking for someone to join our Danish People & Culture team, who is excited to drive the business's growth while maintaining a strong focus on the human aspect and culture.

Become the seventh member of our P&C team

As our new P&C Business Partner at the HQ in Copenhagen, you will work closely with your six colleagues. You will be a trusted sparring partner and support to leaders across all levels of the organisation. With a hands-on approach, you will help strengthen organisational effectiveness, lead change initiatives, and provide coaching to both leaders and employees in their day-to-day work.

You’ll play a key role in areas such as:

• Consulting and supporting: Proactively advising managers and employees on people-related matters and contributing to the strategic development of P&C operations and the execution of related initiatives.

• Analysing and developing: Identifying trends and metrics in close collaboration with the P&C team to develop solutions, programmes, and policies – including contract terms for new hires, promotions, and internal transfers.

• Coaching and interpretation: Providing day-to-day guidance on performance management to line managers and supporting them through coaching and clear interpretation of processes and policies.

You’ll also be working closely with other teams in P&C such as Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development to deliver comprehensive and impactful People & Culture solutions.

The missing piece in our P&C puzzle

We’re always open to new ideas, and we believe your unique perspective can help us continuously improve, which is why we’re eager to learn more about you and your background.

We imagine you hold a degree in HR or Business Administration perhaps a cand.merc., cand.soc. in HR, or a related field. You likely bring at least three years of experience as an HR Business Partner, where you’ve provided strategic input on HR and compliance matters. You’re hands-on with performance management, employee development, and organisational design. Are you comfortable navigating Danish employment law, including the Danish Salaried Employees Act (Funktionærloven), the Maternity Leave Act (Barselslovgivning), the Holiday Act (Ferieloven), and related legal frameworks, you’ll be a good match for the position.

As a person, you’re proactive, approachable, solution-oriented and a strong communicator - all essential qualities in your role as a trusted partner. Experience with stakeholder management at all levels is a plus, as is a proactive, forward-thinking mindset. Most importantly, you build trust, foster strong relationships, and contribute to a collaborative, healthy work culture. You’ll thrive at Abacus Medicine if you enjoy a dynamic, multicultural environment driven by entrepreneurial spirit, and feel confident communicating fluently in both Danish and English.
