How you will make an impact
In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping and implementing a comprehensive building and asset protection standards across Arla's global sites. Your work will ensure our sites are safe and compliant and directly contributing to our strategic goals. You will:

• Write, advice and guide on standards and support building and construction projects from design to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality.
• Develop and implement asset protection standards and key performance indicators to safeguard company assets during construction activities as well as daily operation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including site engineering, project management, and safety, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and asset protection standards.
• Participate in asset protection audits and emergency response issues in management reviews
• Provide training and guidance to site colleagues on Building & Construction projects including asset protection measures and best practices
• Ensure that contractors and tenants comply with all applicable standards related to environmental, health, and safety

You will be part of a small, newly established team driving the asset protection agenda in Arla and you will be able to set your fingerprint on how it will be played out globally in Arla Foods.

What will make you successful
We are looking for a candidate with either a strong foundation in civil engineering, mechanical engineering or construction project management, coupled with experience in enhanced fire protection. You have engineering project experience from a larger, complex organisation or as a consultant advising project execution organisations.

We will value:

• A strong understanding of construction standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Expertise in global asset protection and risk management and ability to convert this into real life and Arla standards
• Project management skills, with the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and with Site management.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions on behalf of Engineering & Technology related to Asset protection
• Certification in asset protection or related fields is a plus.
