As a part of the Seller Problem Space squad, your role is pivotal in simplifying the vehicle selling process and empowering our clients to excel in sales, specializing in pricing trade-in and in-stock cars, where your expertise will make a tangible impact!

As our new Software Engineer at AutoProff, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing the automotive trading landscape. Your role is pivotal in engineering the backbone of our platform, ensuring seamless operation and providing users with unparalleled experiences. Your expertise in building efficient, scalable, and secure solutions will form the bedrock that propels our mission forward!

Working alongside skilled developers, designers, and product experts, you'll have the chance to incorporate your technical expertise and creative ideas into driving the advancement of our platform and bring real and measurable value to our users by finding and building solutions to their everyday challenges.

Let's dive into your key responsibilities, you will:

• Work in an agile, international environment with experienced and skilled colleagues
• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using engineering best practices and design patterns.
• Drive a culture of 'you build it (you own it) and you run it' mentality
• Identify areas for own personal development
• Mentor and coach co-workers on topics that you master.

The need-to-have skills:

• Used to working in an Agile environment
• Experience working with .Net and C#
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with MySQL (or another relational database technology)
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns, and modern system development
• Good communication skills and fluency in business English (spoken and written)
• Open towards and able to quickly learn new technologies
• Ability to troubleshoot problems, debug, and suggest solutions

The nice-to-have skills:

• Experienced in working with AWS Infrastructure or other cloud providers, especially containerization and serverless computing.
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Experience leveraging AI, Generative AI (GenAI) to enhance engineering productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and optimize workflows. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to integrate AI-driven solutions into their daily work — such as code generation, debugging, reviews, documentation, and decision support — to improve efficiency for themselves and their teams. A proactive approach to exploring and implementing AI tools that drive innovation and streamline development processes is highly valued.
