About the role
We are looking to hire a skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Copenhagen.

In this role you will get the chance to reinforce our team in developing a new payment processing system that is able to do international payments within seconds while simultaneously enhancing the functionalities towards the clients with the aim of fulfilling Banking Circle’s overall goal of creating a state-of-the-art payment experience to all clients.

You will be reporting to the Product Owner of Payment Clearing solutions and be a part of our growing Clearing Technology department, working closely with payments business and engineering and collaborate with a broad variety of stakeholders across the bank.

This is a unique opportunity to be involved in payment implementation projects with Central Banks and automated clearing house all over the world.

What you will be doing

• Leverage your strong analytical skills to decipher key insights from diverse data sources and formats, supporting the development prioritization process and translating findings into actionable implementation plans
• Understand and translate both business and technical requirements with input from external and internal sources to clearly specified work items for development engineering
• Facilitate communication and communicate flawlessly to colleagues with different seniority and discipline across business and engineering
• Provide self-driven business analysis and solution specification for prioritized strategic projects
• Provide payments subject matter expertise in different areas of the payments space from an understanding of end-to-end payments processes, e.g. instant and real time gross settlement payment clearing

What we are looking for
To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have a relevant educational background and strong experience in working with financial market infrastructure. We expect you to have at least 3-5 years of experience working closely with financial products and consider knowledge of payment business as an advantage. You are used to driving business analysis independently and have a strong experience in successful stakeholder engagement for both external and internal partners. You must have experience with developing and specifying technical business solutions and be accustomed to successfully managing projects of varying size and complexity and know how to manage multiple tasks simultaneous. Knowledge of Cloud based solutions, database structure and Agile methodologies are all seen as asset.

As a person you are honest and open, you take ownership of your work and are a well-organized team player, who knows the value of clear and precise communication. You’re a self-starter with critical thinker mindset when solving complex challenges. You have great people skills and can easily understand and explain complex things in an adjusted way to fit the audience. You appreciate being trouble-shooter and enjoy taking responsibility when providing solutions to deliver real business value with strong focus on strategic goals. Experience working with Instant and RTGS payment solutions is preferred, but not a requirement

As Banking Circle is an international company it´s a requirement, that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.

The position will be based onsite at Banking Circle's Office in Copenhagen, and we expect you to be based locally.
