Product owner Core Banking

This position is based at our friendly office in Roskilde or Warszawa and you will join our Core Banking PM. The team is in charge of collecting and prioritizing demand primarily from internal stakeholders to our Core Banking domain.

The role as product owner in the core banking area is an opportunity to work with demand towards the most central part of the banking machine room on which many strategic developments in BEC depends. At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Michael Ager Carlsen.

Primary task and responsibilities include:

• Collect and clarify demand towards the Core Banking domain by interacting with relevant stakeholders in- and outside the organization.
• Maintain, scope and prioritize a product backlog
• Develop and maintain a five-quarter roadmap
• Partake in refinement activities with the delivery team and stakeholders, e.g. in Architecture.
• Develop and maintain a product strategy in cooperation with product management to drive the five-quarter roadmaps
• Ensure compliance in ways-of-working to promote efficiency in the development process and help fast time-to-market.
• Some travel between Poland and Denmark must be expected.

To succeed you will have:

• Solid previous experience as a product owner for technical delivery teams
• Experience with agile development and ways-of-working
• Impeccable communication skills oral and written in English
• Solid social capabilities and the ability to engage in team-based work with many stakeholders
• The ability to joggle both strategic issues and day-to-day details
• Open-minded, collaborative and knowledge-sharing sentiment, but also the ability to stand your ground when needed.
• You think technology from a business perspective
• You have a relevant higher university degree to back your experience

It’s nice-to-have:

• Knowledge of the (Danish) financial sector
• Technical insights in different tech stacks
