Job Summary
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Management Executive to join our team, in the specialised field of heavy lift transport. This role plays a pivotal part in the end-to-end delivery of complex projects across the offshore and energy sectors, ensuring safety, efficiency and client satisfaction. You will coordinate across internal teams, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring adherence with industry standards.
Your Role
Project Execution & Support
- Support the lead manager in the project management of complex heavy lift transport projects from initial planning to final delivery, and ensuring alignment with client expectations, timelines, and contractual requirements.
Cross-functional Coordination
- Support the implementation and continuous enhancement of project management and quality management processes.
- Prepare accurate and insightful project reporting, including financial tracking, cash flow forecasts, and risk assessments to senior management.
- Ensure projects are executed on time and within budget, including full oversight of subcontractor performance and deliverables.
- Assist in developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies to proactively address potential project challenges.
- Support the handling of contractual changes and help mitigate commercial risks by following an effective variation order process.
HSE Compliance
- Ensure strict compliance with all HSSEQ regulations and company policies, with a strong focus on LTI’s.
Client Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Collaboration & Communication
- Facilitate transparent and timely communication across different stakeholders to ensure smooth project coordination.
Your Background
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a Maritime Diploma with relevant project exposure.
- 2–3 years of experience in project management or marine operations preferred. Fresh graduates with strong potential and a passion for logistics are welcome to apply.
- Experience in offshore oil & gas and offshore wind industry is advantageous, especially in heavy lift or marine transport operations
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment and perform effectively under time pressure
- Ability to represent the company and to build strong stakeholder relationships
- Open-minded, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Project.
- Knowledge of maritime contract law and standards (e.g., BIMCO Heavycon, Towcon, Heavyliftvoy) is a strong plus.
