Senior Software Engineer

THE OPPORTUNITY

Backend Developer position at Boozt is a crucial role in building and maintaining the technological backbone of a leading Nordic e-commerce company. What You Will Do

• Backend development on a platform team with modern PHP development stack
• Continuous development of new functionality and refactoring with a focus on quality
• Contribution to team's work excellence with daily code reviews
• Experiments and research on new technologies
  
  

Tech Stack

• The main framework is Symfony PHP 8.2
• All infrastructure is on GCP, monitoring with Datadog
• CI/CD: GitLab
• DBs: MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch
• Tests: PHPUnit
• Dev environment: Docker
• A lot of RESTful APIs and even more async data exchange (AMQP, PubSub)
  
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Mastering PHP and MySQL
• Good English & communication skills
• Interest and knowledge of new trends and technologies within the field
• Symfony experience would be considered as a plus
• Experience in continuous delivery, big data, high performance, caching & optimisation would be considered a plus
