OPERATIONS MANAGER, COPENHAGEN OFFICE

BW Epic Kosan owns and operates a fleet of 48 modern and high quality fully pressurised, semi-refrigerated and ethylene capable gas carriers providing seaborne services for the transportation of liquified petroleum gas (LPG), petrochemicals and other speciality gases. We are headquartered in Singapore, with offices in Copenhagen, Manila and Tokyo. Our vessels serve as a crucial link in the international gas supply chains of leading oil majors and commodity trading houses throughout Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, West Africa and the Americas. We employ approximately 2000 seafarers and a multi-national team of 200 shore-based staff.

• Supervise and manage daily operations of owned and time-chartered vessels.
• Optimize fuel efficiency and reduce delays through effective route and schedule planning.
• Coordinate seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders incl port agents, cargo brokers and customers.
• Planning and procurement of bunkers. Both traditional Fuel and Biofuels.
• Handling all various invoices such as Freight, Hire, Demurrage, charterers expenses, EU ETS etc
• Address and resolve unexpected challenges swiftly and professionally.

• Educational background, bachelor level or similar, in shipping or logistics.
• Preferable minimum two years of experience in operations.
• IT skills: Microsoft Office, especially Excel, IMOS is an advantage
• Exceptional communication, proficiency in stakeholder management and negotiation strategies.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken, and preferably a Scandinavian language.
• Danish residency and a valid work permit are an advantage.
